"We’re all wearily familiar with the hackneyed phrase, “I couldn’t put this book down”, but on this occasion these words are beyond deserved. I read this wondrous work cover to cover in one sitting, stunned by one of the most heart-breaking – and terrifying – dilemmas I’ve ever come across. About the Author
Robin Fotie is a former special education teaching assistant. Her motivation to write this novel came from the experiences she had with the many wonderful children she worked with. One boy in particular touched her heart like no other. It was his exuberance for life, despite his many handicaps, and his honest affection for his teachers that inspired the book’s main character, Josh. Robin has two adult children and resides in Southern California with her husband of forty years. This is her first novel.
